Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has released the Y78+ in China, featuring a Snapdragon 695 SoC and up to 12GB RAM. The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge support, and will be available in three color options. As of now, there is no information regarding the release of the Vivo Y78+ in other markets, including India.

Display - The Vivo Y78+ 5G features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz that has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. Also features, a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits.
Processor/Storage - It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
OS - Running on OriginOS 3, which is a customized version of Android 13.
Camera - The Vivo Y78+ is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization, accompanied by a 2-megapixel sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Connectivity/Network - The handset also features dual SIM support, 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. Additionally, it comes with an optical fingerprint scanner and facial recognition for biometric authentication.
Battery - It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge support, ensuring a long-lasting battery life.
Weight - It weighs around 177g which makes the Vivo Y78+ a sleek and lightweight phone that is easy to carry around.
Vivo Y78+ Price & Availability:-
Vivo Y78+ comes with three options - 8GB + 128GB variant for CNY 1,599 (roughly around Rs.19000 in India). The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage variants are priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 21,300) and CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,700), respectively.
However, Vivo has not revealed when this smartphone Vivo Y78+ will be available in Global markets including India.
